Confessions of a Paris Party Girl by Vicki Lesage
Another great book from my Kindle Unlimited collection.
You may or may not know this about me but I feel like I should’ve been born in France. I love everything about it – Paris, the food, the drinks, the landmarks, the markets – even the people! Before going there for the first time, everyone warned me that the people are rude, the cities are dirty and I would be bitterly disappointed. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I fell more in love with all things French than I ever thought possible. I ate croissants every morning and drank wine each night. I walked and walked until I had to replace my shoes and even had a few great experiences testing my French out with the locals – who were quite sweet about it.
So, when I saw this book was available on Kindle Unlimited, I ordered it without a seconds hesitation. This book lived up to my expectations and more.
I loved reading all of Vicki’s experiences in the most magical city in the world (my opinion) including the good parts and the bad. I loved seeing my favorite city through the eyes of a local who had to deal with things such as meeting new people in a foreign country, finding a relationship, finding a job and going through the crazy bureaucracy that is any Government.
I think the book was really well written – and I look forward to reading more books by Vicki Lesage!
