Book 36

Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella

Sophie Kinsella is definitely one of my all time favorite authors – I love her books and this one definitely did not disappoint.

This book is about one of “those” couples that have been together for ages and everything is in sync and they know everything there is about each other and there are no more surprises left – or so the wife thinks.

It’s about her learning more about her marriage, her husband who she thought she knew and a secret past revealed.

It’s about letting go of the past and heading to the future. It’s about surprises aren’t always good – they can definitely backfire.

My absolute favorite line out of the entire book is: “Love is finding one person infinitely fascinating”. I must admit, I teared up a little when I read that line.

I would give this book 100 stars and recommend it for any chick lit lovers out there.

Happy Reading!
